United Explorer Card: Get 2 Free United Club Passes by Donating 1 New Toy via SF Chase United VIP Lounge
0Earlier in October, I had blogged about a new Chase United Explorer VIP Club Lounge opening up on November 23, 2012 the fourth floor of the San Francisco Downtown Westfield.
This morning, I received an email from Chase and United inviting me to the club lounge on the 23rd. After examining the link, it turns out that the lounge will have weekly events going on—one of which “Share at Toys for Tots Tuesdays.” The description says that if you “[b]ring a new, unwrapped toy in its original packaging and we’ll give you two United Club℠ passes.”!!!!!
Wow! Two United Club Passes in exchange for a good deed for a young child in need?! This is an AWESOME win-win deal in my opinion. One-time United Club Passes are sold for $50/each at United Clubs. Each pass currently grants you and one guest access into one of the United Club Lounges.
The fine print here is that you must be a Chase United Explorer credit cardholder in order to receive the set of passes, and that it is limit one set of passes per cardholder. So while you get extra karma points for bringing in a dozen new toys for children in need, you won’t be receiving more than 2 United Club passes for your good deed.
Personally, I was excited enough to have a brand-new spanky lounge to play with (of course the usual refreshments, cafe area, television, etc. are provided in the VIP lounge for members), but this just really tops it off. I’m interested to find out if, like other United Clubs & Lounges, I will be able to bring in a +1.
Here’s the link to the Chase VIP Lounge website for you to read up on this yourself. 🙂 They will be posting more details shortly.
