The iOS Traveler’s Swiss Army Knife of Maps
Readers, Before iOS 6 came out and Apple finally decided to sever all relations with its once-friend-now-enemy Google, Google Maps on the iPhone was great and robust. The maps app that has now replaced it–which sources data from multiple sources including Waze, Yelp, and TomTom–doesn’t have a key feature necessary for my trips to NYC: public transportation routes.
