(DEAD) Reminder: Last chance for $7 each way on JetBlue for SFO to LGB (and many others)
0Yesterday was the travel booking highlight of September for me after booking tickets from San Francisco (SFO) to Long Beach (LGB) for only $7 each way ($14 roundtrip) including taxes on JetBlue! And no, I didn’t even use any of my airline miles for this! In fact, this was by FAR a better deal than you could get for even burning your own miles!
If you missed out on yesterday’s commotion, there’s still time to get in on this deal. You have until 11:59 PM Eastern tonight (so that’s 8:59 PM Pacific time) to book your JetBlue ticket using this promotion or forever hold your peace (a.k.a. regret it).
I’m not going to rewrite the two entries I already wrote yesterday, so let me just relink it and ask you to refer yourself back to my post on getting tickets from SFO to LGB for only $14 roundtrip!
Incredible sales (although I doubt JetBlue ever intended on it being used this way) come once in a blue moon. In fact, at these prices, JetBlue is most certainly losing money on these, so I would not expect a better deal to come around later on.
So splurge, be spontaneous, coordinate with your friends, visit old friends, and/or just be adventurous! It’s fun to travel! 🙂
As a side note, yesterday’s post also spiked my traffic meter by a few thousand visitors… hello guests and new readers! Welcome!
If you enjoyed reading about the deal, I encourage you to follow me on Twitter @frugalasianman or sign up for the email subscription powered by Google Feedburner. It’ll send you an email once a day with short excerpts and links to the articles posted. I post articles daily, and if you can’t tell already–I have a huge passion for traveling, food, and scoring everything at great deals! 🙂
Have a wonderful Friday everyone!
UPDATE at 2:18 PM Pacific on Fri. 9/14/12: It looks like JetBlue has caught on and effectively killed this (perhaps mistake price/programming) deal. All one-way flights will now show up as HALF of the promo code (so $25 off for the $50 off code). Roundtrip tickets show up with the full $50 off discount value. With a crazy price like this where JetBlue is clearly losing money per passenger, I was wondering when JetBlue was going to clamp down on this. (Not to mention the discounts didn’t add up mathematically either.)
Hopefully many of you readers who wanted to travel booked already! If not, you can still use the promo code to get a little bit of a discount. Just remember next time an amazing deal alert shows up: you snooze, you lose!
