Chase Bank, which is the bank that owns the vast majority of all miles earning credit cards in the industry, is running a special promotion rom now until April 6th for new Chase Total Checking Account customers.
New Chase Customers can receive a $125 bonus deposited into their account for simply having opening a new Chase Total Checking account, deposit $100 or more into that new account, and then set up a direct deposit for their new checking account. Once you’ve completed those steps, you’ll receive the $125 bonus credited within 10 business days!
I did this when they were running the same promotion last year, and had no problems. Just make sure you bring your driver’s license with you when you open up your new account–and preferably a checkbook or $100 in cash for the deposit.
Just make sure to go to this promotional page here and type in your email address to receive your promotional $125 coupon that you can bring in to any Chase Bank branch.
Chase Bank is also very much a relationship bank, so having more Chase products (and keeping those active and in good standing), can help your approval (or reconsideration) process for future Chase credit cards you might apply for. I have personally moved most of my personal banking to Chase, and have been very happy with it. I have plans in the near future to move over my business accounts to Chase, but I’m still waiting for a promotion for business accounts before I do that.
