MONEY: Free $10 at Target w/ Purchase of $50 or more — valid today and tomorrow only!
2I love points and miles, but free money is even better. 🙂
This Saturday is the last day to use Target’s coupon, available here, where friends and fans of Target can print the coupon and redeem it for a $10 Target gift card with their purchase of $50 or more!
I’m told (although I did not personally see this) that they have had this promotion around since Black Friday this year. Still not too late to get in on this offer!
If you don’t normally spend $50 at Target (plenty of toys and clothes on sale this time of the year), this could still be worthwhile if you want to be a little bit creative. For example, even though it says some confusing print about gift cards for the $50 purchase total, other bloggers have reported that it will work on certain merchant gift cards (just not on buying Target gift cards) or even Visa gift cards. So you could potentially be buying a $50 Visa gift card and paying the $4.95 activation fee, then getting $10 back in the form of a Target gift card. That will effectively cancel your activation fee, and even let you pocket a few bucks! (Note: I have not personally confirmed to see if visa gift cards will count towards the $50 purchase requirement for the coupon. It’d be worth a try though!)
Remember, this coupon expires this Saturday, December 15, 2012. So get on it!
- Original coupon link at Target.com
- PDF version of the coupon for easy printing (in case the above coupon plug-in doesn’t work for you) (note: this one is a user uploaded image)
I will give this a try out later today at my local Target. Would be great to bring me a little bit closer to my spend requirement for my AMEX SPG credit card’s signup offer.
Tip of the hat to Frequent Miler for the tip off.
