Monday Travel Deal Destination: Copenhagen, Denmark (for $779 roundtrip from SF)
0Today’s MTDD is for Copenhagen, Denmark! Normally prices to Copenhagen (or any part of Europe for that matter) from the west coast go for start at $1,000 roundtrip, and jump pretty high during peak seasons.
Well, United has a pretty good sale for SFO to CPH (Copenhagen) for somewhere between $779 to $825 roundtrip, with the price variation depending on the day of the week you’re leaving. This price range is for a 5 day stay for Sunday through Thursday travel, but you can play around with the dates as there seems to be some flexibility on this.
Deets:
- Pricing only valid for economy roundtrip travel from October 22 to March 21, 2013
- To check availability or to book: Go to United.com, use roundtrip SFO to CPH as the airport codes. Check the “my dates are flexible” option, select 5 days to start off with on your search, and then choose the month you want to start looking at prices from. (It will show available prices for the entire month.) (You can play around w/ the number of days after you find some good pricing.)
- Feel free to book away! I easily found prices for $800 roundtrip, though finding the $779 sweet price was a little bit difficult.
- Remember to use your United MileagePlus number when booking to score miles and premier qualifying miles on this flight.
Fun fact: On peak holidays, roundtrip pricing to Denmark for economy on United is going as high as $3,250 for 2013!
Tip of the hat to the gents at TheFlightDeal.
And if Copenhagen isn’t your prime destination (or if it’s just out of your budget), then consider the AWESOME deal to Lima, Peru that I posted yesterday. ($437 roundtrip!)
