MILES&POINTS: Targeted United +50% Elite Miles Bonus for travel before May 23, 2013
0United Airlines has a targeted promotional offer which they emailed out to MileagePlus members. Members who received this targeted email will be able to register their MileagePlus number in order to receive a bonus +50% elite miles on paid qualifying flights in United Global FirstSM, United First®, United BusinessFirst®, United Business® or United Economy® fare classes (F, A, J, C, D, Z, P, Y, B, M, E, U, H, Q and V). Must register, book, and complete travel before May 23, 2013.
Even if you did not see the offer in your email inbox, there is a live activation page for the promotion, and it never hurts to plug in your own MileagePlus number to see if it will work. Unfortunately for me, when I plugged in my MileagePlus number, it returned an error message saying I’m not eligible for this promotion.
Based off of the feedback from other bloggers and miles enthusiasts who have gotten the promotion to work, this seems to be an offer targeted those MileagePlus members who once held any elite status but no longer do.
