MILES&POINTS: Get an extra 25% bonus miles on hotel point transfers to British Airways

Tuning into Gary over at View from the Wing, British Airways is offering a 25% bonus on miles when you convert your hotel points to British Airways Avios from now through January 13, 2013.

Eligible partners are: Starwood, Club Carlson, Marriott, Hilton, Priority Club, Hyatt, and Shangri-La. No registration is required and the bonus is automatic.

This promotion is just a little icing on the cake if you were planning on transferring points to Avios. A couple things to remember are that SPG gives a 5,000 miles bonus when transferring Starpoints to travel partners in 20,000 point increments, and that American Express Membership Rewards has a small 33% bonus transfer rate for select partners through the holidays.
