United Airlines has partnered with Allstate and is offering a special 500 to 4,500 bonus United miles for switching to Allstate Insurance. While this may not be the right deal to get in on for everyone (I’m personally happy with my AAA insurance), this could potentially be a good way to get in on some free bonus miles and also save money by getting a less costly insurance plan.
Apparently you need to get a free quote with a local Allstate Agent or 1-866-634-7403 to find out how many miles you can earn. Just mention you saw their advertisement on the United.com partner page, and want to know how many bonus United miles your insurance plan would give you.
Offer only available in the following U.S. states and territories: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and Washington, D.C.
(No California! Shucks.)
Allow 6-12 weeks for the bonus miles to be posted to your account.
As a note for those of you trying to be creative: there seems to be no specifics in terms of the minimum length you would need to keep Allstate. So it might be possible to switch to Allstate for a couple of months, get your miles, and if you are not satisfied with them, switch to another provider.
