Free Megabus Trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles (& many other locations nationwide)
0Readers,
If you don’t know–most of my deals are catered primarily to California residents since I live in the San Francisco bay area. That isn’t to say, however, that the deals that I blog about are not available nationwide—it just means that I usually write the titles in a way that appeals most to my fellow California residents.
This deal, even though the title says SF to LA, is available in all states that Megabus operates (which are a lot!) and has routes between major cities within each of those states. Since this is essentially a free roundtrip bus fare, it will pay off to see if it’s available near you.
That being said, I’m most interested in the San Francisco to Los Angeles roundtrip tickets that are free. Normally a drive between SF to LA is about 8 hours, and with gas prices these days–it’s almost cheaper to fly. (And during airfare sales, it usually IS cheaper to fly.)
Megabus is offering 200,000 riders free roundtrip tickets for weekday travel from January 9th to February 28th, 2013. Spaces are limited so book ASAP!
- Go to the megabus.com website here.
- In the search dates enter a date from January 9th to February 28th. (Free pricing ONLY applies to weekdays. I was able to get $1 fares for weekends though.)
- Enter promo code “TRYMEGABUS“
- Hit search and have a safe trip!
All Megabus buses are supposed to have on-board wifi and electrical sockets as well. They recently just moved back to California, so we’ll see how their service is. For anyone feeling a little adventurous and wants essentially a free trip to LA, this is a good deal.
