FREE 2,000 Starwood points or $50 for test driving an Acura
1Gary over at View from the Wing wrote a post yesterday that Acura has once again teamed up with the W to offer 2,000 Starpoints or $50 American Express gift card for test driving an Acura! All you have to do is go stop by a W hotel and ask them for the Acura Rewards card, and then take that card to an Acura dealer for a test drive promotion code. (You might be able to talk the dealer out of just giving you the code if you’re not a serious buyer. Otherwise, go for the test drive.)
So recap: here’s what to do to score the 2,000 Starpoints or $50 American Express gift card:
- Go to your local W Hotel and ask their front desk for an Acura Rewards card
- Take the Acura Rewards card with you to an official Acura dealership and test drive an Acura; tell them beforehand you’re looking for a promotion code and show them the Acura Rewards card you received.
- Get your code and then just plug everything in online at Acurarewards.com and you should be all set!

Note: It’s not clear yet whether or not the dealerships all have the promotional materials yet. I will be doing this sometime later this week to investigate on whether or not this works in the SF bay area. I’ll report back later this week in another post (which I’ll also add to this entry).
