The Chase Freedom credit card is one of what I like to call “trifecta points cards.” It works as an excellent companion to its fellow Chase Ultimate Rewards points earning brothers the Chase Sapphire Preferred card and the Chase Ink Bold/Plus cards since they each earn bonus points on different categories but all accumulate points in the same Chase Ultimate Rewards program. Every quarter, the Chase Freedom card grants 5% cash back for the first $1,500 in purchases in the specific categories for the quarter. This quarter (January through March)…… (click read more!)
The 100,000 Avios points sign up offer has returned for the British Airways Visa Card offered by Chase! Those of you who have been following my blog know that I don’t often post credit card offers as a blog post. The reason why this is making front page for Monday is because the sign up bonus of 100k is DOUBLE the usual bonus Avios points offered for the standard sign-up bonus, and will most likely only be offered for a limited time. In fact, this is a sign up bonus…… (click read more!)

The Chase Freedom credit card is one of my favorite “workhorse” cards for earning miles, because of the quarterly spend bonuses that allow me to earn effectively 5x points per $1 spent using the Freedom card in the bonus categories for up to $1,500 per quarter in the bonus categories. Since the Freedom card’s rewards center only allows you to redeem for cash back rewards, I then transfer over the points to my Chase Ink Bold card’s ultimate rewards center for redemption to one of the major airline and hotel…… (click read more!)
5x on Airfare, Hotels, Best Buy, & Kohls for Chase Freedom Oct-Dec Quarterly Spend: Registration Active!
One of my favorite workhorse cards for earning miles is the Chase Freedom card because of the great quarterly bonus categories they have for earning points. This current quarter (July through September) has been 5x points per dollar spent on gas stations and restaurants. It’s been great to get 5x points on all of my dining experiences, especially since food adventures are a huge portion of my monthly expenditure. Now, Chase advertises the 5x points as a “5% cashback,” whereas all other purchases are still 1x point per dollar spent…… (click read more!)
